Asian Summit – Building Regional Solidarity Through Culture and Youth Dialogue
The Asian Summit, with participation from People’s Theatre Association (PTA), served as a significant platform for dialogue, solidarity, and creative exchange among youth representatives, cultural organizations, and grassroots activists from across the Asian continent. This high-impact gathering focused on shared regional challenges such as climate change, inequality, peacebuilding, cultural preservation, and youth empowerment.
As part of the summit, PTA contributed through theatre presentations, interactive workshops, and policy discussions—highlighting the role of performance, storytelling, and community engagement in driving social change. The delegation shared success stories from Bangladesh, showcased community-based theatre practices, and actively participated in cross-cultural collaborations.
The summit fostered connections between Asian youth, encouraging mutual understanding and long-term partnerships for regional development. By participating in this prestigious event, People’s Theatre Association reaffirmed its vision of using theatre and the arts as tools to build a more inclusive, peaceful, and creative Asia.
