Cultural Exchange Through Theatre: People's Theatre Association at Festival in Japan
The People’s Theatre Association (PTA) had the privilege of representing Bangladesh at a renowned international theatre festival held in Japan. This extraordinary opportunity allowed young performers to present their theatrical work in front of a global audience, sharing stories that reflect the heart of Bangladeshi culture, values, and social consciousness.
Through vibrant performances, rich in emotion and authenticity, PTO’s delegation highlighted issues such as humanity, peace, community, and justice—earning appreciation from international peers and audiences alike. The festival served as a hub of cultural exchange, where youth from different nations bonded through their shared passion for theatre and creative storytelling.
Participation in this Japanese festival not only showcased the strength of Bangladeshi youth theatre but also opened new doors for collaboration, learning, and global friendship.
