6th National Youth Theatre Festival
The 6th National Youth Theatre Festival, organized by the People’s Theatre Association, was a vibrant national platform for young theatre artists to voice their thoughts, challenge societal issues, and engage with audiences through the art of performance.
Youth groups from different districts came together to present plays that explored a wide range of themes—such as gender equality, mental health, climate action, education, human rights, and freedom of expression. Each performance showcased the unique perspective, energy, and critical thinking of the young generation.
In addition to stage performances, the festival also featured workshops, interactive discussions, and cultural exchanges that helped nurture leadership, confidence, and artistic growth among participants.
By organizing the 6th edition of this powerful event, People’s Theatre Association continues to reaffirm its commitment to empowering youth through creative platforms and promoting theatre as a tool for social transformation.
