The 1st National Children Theatre Festival, a groundbreaking initiative by People’s Theatre Association, marked the beginning of a national platform dedicated to children’s theatrical expression. It brought together a handful of passionate child performers and dedicated theatre mentors to showcase simple, yet meaningful plays.
This inaugural event created a wave of excitement and inspiration across the theatre and education community, proving that children’s theatre is not only possible but powerful.
From this first step, PTA envisioned a long-term journey of empowerment, and this festival laid the cornerstone for the many successful editions that followed
