National Children, Adolescent, and Youth Theatre Festival 2014
The National Children, Adolescent, and Youth Theatre Festival 2014, organized by People’s Theatre Association, created a vibrant platform for young theatre artists across the country. Held at the Shilpakala Academy auditorium in Dhaka, the festival saw the participation of over four hundred child performers, giving them the opportunity to showcase their creativity and talent through theatre.
The main objective of the festival was to foster cultural awareness and boost self-confidence among children and youth through theatrical arts, while also conveying social and educational messages. Various theatre groups presented plays that highlighted different societal issues and values.
Through this festival, People’s Theatre Association supported the development of young talents and played a significant role in promoting children’s and youth theatre in Bangladesh. The event is regarded as an important milestone in the country’s cultural landscape.
