Performance Art Workshop – 2017
The Performance Art Workshop 2017 organized by People’s Theatre Association was a significant initiative for the theater and performance art scene in Bangladesh. Through this workshop, participants gained both theoretical and practical knowledge about performance art.
The workshop covered acting, improvisation, body language, physical expression, lighting, and the use of music. Participants developed confidence and creativity by creating and presenting both group and solo performances.
This program helped young theater artists grow their interest and skills in performance art, supporting their development as artists. Additionally, it expanded the scope of using theater as an effective educational tool.
People’s Theatre Association’s workshop added a new dimension to the importance and potential of performance art within Bangladesh’s cultural landscape.
